Obituary of Charles Anthony Cerny

CERNY - Charles A. Sr., 77, of South Pasadena, Florida, formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital in South Pasadena. Born in Lisov, Czech Republic, he was a seasonal visitor to Florida for many years and moved to South Pasadena, Florida in 1994 from Indianapolis, Indiana where he was an accountant and member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, St. Pete Beach; the Holiday Isle Elk's Lodge #1912; the Knights of Columbus; the American Contract Bridge League and the Bay Island Men's Billiard Organization (B.I.M.B.O.) Survivors include one son, Chuck Cerny Jr. of Knoxville, Tennessee; one daughter, J. Christine Cerny of Indianapolis, Indiana; one step-son, Larry Cooper of Columbus, Ohio; one step-daughter, Janis Carlson of Ipava, Illinois; his fiance', Jane Patchett of Palm Desert, California; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Cerny was preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter, Caitlyn Cerny and his loving wife of forty years, Joan M. Cerny. David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Central Avenue Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. The family suggests memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Susan G.
