Singer, Myer “Mike"

 

 Mike Singer died peacefully Monday evening, February 10, 2020 at 91 years old.  He was born in Cleveland, Ohio and relocated his family to Fort Worth, Texas in 1970.  Mike was the owner of Singer Metal Company,  specializing in electronic scrap.  Mike was well known for his happy and kind disposition and his great love for his wife, Ina and their children, Madelyn, David and Hal.  Mike served his country in the Army with the 95th Light Tank Company in Tokyo, Japan.  While in service he was on the Army tennis team and played tennis with Bobby Riggs. In Fort Worth he and Ina were very active at Congregation Ahavath Sholom.  Mike and Ina were married for 70 loving years.  In 2018 Mike and Ina relocated to Clearwater, Florida. Mike is survived by his wife Ina, daughter Madelyn (Jeff) Greenberg, David Singer, Hal (Ingrid) Singer, grandchildren Bill (Marilu) Greenberg, Bobby (Young) Greenberg, Alexis, Kayla & Jake Singer and great grandchildren Cooper & Madison Greenberg as well as his brother, Sanford Singer and sister Shirley Jones. Mike was a very generous man, loved unconditionally and will be greatly missed.

 

A graveside service will be at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL on Monday, February 17, 2020.
