Shelly was a good friend for many years. Recently moving back to Florida, he was one of the first people I looked forward to seeing. With his crazy sense of humor he could always make me laugh. Our card games were so much fun -- with all the bickering, joking, and laughter -- it was like being in high school again.
I will surely miss my treasured friend.
Our deep condolences to Marlee, Dana, and Barrett.

Dear Shelly, Marlee, Barrett and Dana, Vita mutatur, non tollitur… life has changed but not ended.
Though we lived 5,000 miles apart it, we were always on the same page. Shelly shared much valuable advice that contributed to our good fortune.
His humor was the best! The last time we had dinner, I picked up the check and he said, "If I knew you were picking up the check, I would have ordered a shrimp cocktail !"
We’re going to plant some trees in Israel in memory of Shelly. May these trees stand in tribute to a life well lived.
Aloha, David, Sheila, Dave Jr., Celin, Alysha and Kale.
Attached is a photo of us when we were at the U.S. Army Post Graduate War College in ’66.
