Obituary of Janet R. Richards

Janet Langenegger Richards (12/12/50-12/26/20) would like to let you know that her work here on earth is done. She received a call the morning of December 26^th for an appointment from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with an enormous reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time and missed terribly.  Her new journey takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, sewing, knitting, quilting and reading to her heart’s content.  Laughter and love are guaranteed, and most importantly she will remember everything that she so sadly forgot these last few years.  She left detailed instructions for Darryl and her daughters to celebrate her mission here, which has now been completed. Lack of attention to this instruction will not be tolerated...she was pretty stubborn!    

We want to let her know that she did a great job and wish her a safe journey. We will remember her smile, her warmth, her energy, her love for life, family and friends, whom she cherished in her 70 years in cities like College Park, MD, Columbia, MD and St. Petersburg, FL.

The care of Mrs. Richards and her family has been entrusted to David C. Gross Funeral Home in St. Petersburg.
