Dearest Gerry,
I have the need to express my feelings in regard to Richard Gerry. As the name implies their was always Richard connected to Gerry. I soon comically learned that actually his last name was Mensh.
I don't recall the day you both stepped into my life yet I do recall with certainty the day I met a Man I sought and fought to emulate.
The ideal Male. A protector of all and a friend to all.The perfect balance.
I was Blessed to refer to him as my best friend.
Just being in his presence enabled one to grow.
His humble yet Stern ways groomed confidence.
Safely landing that single prop in 40-60 mile wind shear, Running the Beach at 600 AM, Drinking myself silly and trying to foolishly take him down, Camping in Florida and showing up on Bowl game day with two portable TV's to not miss a moment was just fun.
All my children were Blessed to meet and hang with Richard.
He led a defining moment in my life that would springboard me into the professional and family man I remain.
He was pivotal in his role as Justice ⚖️ seeker when my Dad and I needed legal professional council.
They say when the whole is greater than the sum of the part occurs.... a Synergy is created.
Richard Gerry profiled in action what living life enables.
He will be missed. Richard send regards to my Dad and see you on the other side. May the fun indefinitely continue.
